Favorite Parts About Working for the Bayhawks
1) The first thing Taylor likes about the Bayhawks is the front office is made up of 12 close-knit individuals who act like family members to each other. "We spend a lot of time together and work well as a team but also have a lot of fun while we're doing it", says Taylor. During game weeks, the front office staff often stays at the office until 1 in the morning. Taylor noted that even when the staff are stressed to great lengths, they still have smiles on their faces and continue to work hard. "I think when you're surrounded by motivated, positive, hardworking people it makes things easier even when you're tired", explains Taylor.

2) Taylor's second favorite aspect is that the sports industry has many different aspects. As a staff member for the Bayhawks, she has had the opportunity to try many different things to find her niche. Taylor mentioned that she never saw herself working in sports or working in an office, but since joining the Bayhawks, her mind has changed. Her current major is journalism, however, she no longer has an interest in it. "I also learned more at the Bayhawks in six months, dealing with real issues and being immersed in it all, than I ever did sitting in a classroom", says Taylor.

Proudest Moments at the Bayhawks
1) The July 2nd game with a country concert afterwards was the first of
its kind in the MLL. Taylor noted that it was great to be a part of that event and even greater feeling when actually worked according to their plan. 2) After every home game when all the hard work and long hours pay off. 3) When an intern does works hard on a project and it turns out great. 4) When one of Taylor's coworkers achieves a goal. |
5) When the Bayhawks staff witnessed their #1 fan ringing the bell after
her last chemo treatment. 6) Anytime Taylor works really hard on something that she doesn't think she can complete on time and ends up somehow pulling it off. 7) When the Bayhawks win! 8) The end of a successful season! |
Career Aspirations
Taylor states, "Hopefully one day I'll be the head of either the sales or operations side of the Bayhawks! Since we want to keep it in the family, I think it would be so cool to be the first ever woman owner of a team in the MLL (in like 20 years though)". Taylor would also like to open a home decor and clothing store with her mom.
